The SND_SOC_SMDK_WM8580_PCM Kconfig entry depends on either MACH_SMDKV210
or MACH_SMDKC110. Both of which were removed in commit 28c8331d386a ("ARM:
S5PV210: Remove support for board files") over two years ago. The driver
has been unselectable ever since.
Considering the lack of complaints about this it can be concluded that the
driver is unused and can be removed.

Latest Thinkpad laptops use the HKEY_HID LEN0268 instead of the
LEN0068, as a result neither audio mute led nor mic mute led can work
any more.
After adding the new HKEY_HID into the is_thinkpad(), both of them
works well as before.

Acctually we don't need to wait thinkpad_acpi.c to be patched first,
since no matter the thinkpad_acpi.c merge that patch or not, the led
control function is always provided by thinkpad_acpi.c, the new
HKEY_ID only affects the automatic insmod for thinkpad_acpi.ko.

Hi!
The TSE-850 is an FM Transmitter Station Equipment, designed to generate
baseband signals for FM, mainly the DARC subcarrier, but other signals
are also possible.
This adds a driver for the "sound" bits of the device (quoted since it
is normally not used for normal sound output, but that works too of
course).
I have not provided a patch to add axentia as a devicetree vendor prefix,
since such a patch is already pending in an IIO series [1] that seems
close to being accepted.
However, there are a couple of points that I'm not 100% satisfied with
for this driver.
First, I do not know how to describe the relays that control if the
IN1/IN2 signals are directly routed towards OUT1/OUT2 or if they are
routed to the "add" switch. The dapm routing treats this as if the
IN1/IN2 signals are always routed to both the "add" switch and to
the muxes feeding OUT1/OUT2. This is fine with me since nothing is
powered in those sections anyway, so what dapm thinks does not really
matter. But it is a wart all the same.
Second, there's my comment in tse850_put_mix() when the "add" switch
is updated. I believe this update should really happen as a side
effect of the call to snd_soc_dapm_mixer_update_power(), so that it
happens at the right point compared to other stuff that is powered.
But I do not know how to hook that up and instead I flip the switch
before the call since it doesn't really matter. I.e., any noise
resulting from this badness is negligeble in practice.

This series adds support for low power D0i3 mode which lets audio controller
perform stream and non streaming usage scenarios while being in lower power
D0i3 state.
In this series, first we modify the sst_ipc_tx_message() API to check if
the DSP is in lower powered D0i3 mode or not and if so bring it to
active before sending any messages. This is followed by a new API
sst_ipc_tx_message_nopm() to send message without checking the new PM
method.
Then we start adding D0i3 refcounting which decides the entry to D0i3
mode based on capability. This is derived from topology data.
The new IPC to enter D0i3 is also required.
Finally we remove unwarranted pci device enabling calls on suspend.

A bugfix accidentally removed the implicit initialization of the
dma channel number, causing undefined behavior when
v->alloc_dma_channel is NULL:

The patch
ASoC: Add support for CS42L42 codec
has been applied to the asoc tree at
git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/sound.git
All being well this means that it will be integrated into the linux-next
tree (usually sometime in the next 24 hours) and sent to Linus during
the next merge window (or sooner if it is a bug fix), however if
problems are discovered then the patch may be dropped or reverted.

Support was added to allow location of both CPU and CODEC components
of a DAI link from their parent's of_node if they did not have an
of_node themselves in this commit:
commit 3e0aa8d83bf8 ("ASoC: core: If component doesn't have of_node
use parent's node instead")
However this leaves platforms as something of a special case as the
major DAI component that doesn't do this. Since this is useful for MFD
devices which often utilise a single device tree entry for the whole
device, add support for looking up platforms from the parent's of_node
as well.

Hi everyone,
This series adds support for stereo mixer controls in DAPM and uses them
to add support for Allwinner A31's internal codec. This series is for
4.10. I'm sending them out now, so if there are any issues we can discuss
them at ELCE next week.
The A31's internal codec is similar (in terms of DMA, interface and
control layouts) to the one found in the A10/A13/A20 SoCs. However
it has more external inputs and outputs, the mixer controls are now
stereo (left/right separated), and it also has some audio processing
features (not supported).
To fully support DAPM but also provide a sane interface to userspace,
the first 4 patches attempt to implement stereo support to DAPM controls.
Otherwise we end up with a bunch of mono controls labeled "X Left" and
"X Right".
Patches 5 through 10 add support for the A31's internal codec, one
feature per patch. Hopefully this makes it easier to review. Some
features, such as PHONE inputs/outputs, audio processing, headset
jack detection and buttons, aren't supported yet.
Patch 11 adds a device node for the codec to the A31 dtsi.
Patch 12 enables the codec for the Hummingbird A31 board.
