Thanks, Lars_Peter. This fixes the issue:

root at freescale /$ modprobe -r snd_soc_imx_wm8962
modprobe: can't unload module snd_soc_imx_wm8962: Resource temporarily
unavailable

Will send a patch with your suggestion soon.
