[alsa-devel] Intel HDA Sound Randomly Dies

Hi!

My sound will randomly quit. The levels (in alsamixer) remain unchanged and
the speakers do not get muted, however there is no sound. The only way I
can hear sound again is to reload the module "snd_hda_intel". No errors are
logged anywhere I thought to check. I have attached the output of the
information script that I found on alsa-project.org.

I was told to write this email by nevyn in #alsa on Freenode.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
