[alsa-devel] Analog Devices AD1984B HP TouchSmart iq504t No Mic Input

Despite various models used in /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf
(touchsmart, auto, laptop, mobile, thinkpad) and various alsamixer
settings, I am unable to get input from the two microphones mounted on
my monitor as seen in this picture:

Playback works fine.
