Could you try the latest alsa-driver-snapshot below?
    ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tiwai/snapshot/alsa-driver-snapshot.tar.gz

It'll make both digital outputs available, at least.
It's no best solution, but a workable one.
