It's pending just because I'm waiting for the report from Stanley.

The patch itself looks sane to me.  We'll need an additional change to
remove snd-cs4236, too, though.

Regarding removal of cs4236 -- it'd be perhaps better to provide a
module alias of snd-cs4236 to keep the old system happy.  But it's
just a minor issue.
