Which is it intended for, 2.6.29 or 2.6.30?

If it's 2.6.29, the patches look too much.  If it's for 2.6.30, IMO, 
at least Peter's clean-up patches should go into 2.6.29, as this
change was introduced firstly in the 2.6.29 merge.
