Thanks.  At least it shows the values in hwsync ioctl are sane.
So something wrong in elsewhere.

Could you check whether this error happens with sync_ptr_ioctl flag
in PCM config?  For example, define the below in ~/.asoundrc,

	pcm.mytest {
		type hw
		card 0
		sync_ptr_ioctl true
	}

Then run with PCM "mytest".
