Yeah, that's my guess, too.

I'm not sure about this.  The other 8ch Nvidia codecs have also
separate audio widgets, namely, one master + 4 slave.
Of course, the new one has no master, so it might be really with
separated 2ch PCM streams instead of 8ch interleaved format.
