The xfer_align doesn't actually change the behavior that is exposed to
the outside.  It's rather the driver internal, and the implementation
doesn't influence on the transfer behavior in practice.

Yes.  That's pending on my local tree.

Also I'll increase PCM pversion too, just to be sure.
