[alsa-devel] Very low headphones volume on HDA + Realtek ALC268

Hi, i've got an hda/alc268 card (pci id: [8086:284b], subsytem id:
[1025:011f]) on my laptop, and the sound is ok for the loudspeakers
but it is very very low for the headphones (the volume is at the top
in the mixer, if i reduce the volume in the mixer the sound gets even
lower).
Under windows vista the headphones work well (ok, worked, before that
i removed windows from my computer).
I am using alsa hg, the most recent version at the moment i'm writing
this e-mail.
I there is any experiment that i can do or if i can help in any way (i
know C very well) to fix this bug just let me know, and i'll be happy
to contribute.
